Job Summary
Teach Spanish to meet or exceed state academic achievement standards by planning and delivering authentic learning experiences through collaboration, problem-based learning, and inquiry. Guide the learning process by establishing clear objectives, implementing differentiated instructional strategies, and using evidence-based assessments to improve student outcomes. Partner with business and community organizations to create resources for curriculum development while assisting students with intervention and remediation in math, science, and literacy. Manage classroom behavior, maintain accurate records, and contribute to Professional Learning Communities to share responsibility for student success. Serve as a student advisor, work with parents as partners on career choices, and participate in ongoing professional development.
Required Qualifications
- Valid State of Ohio licensure in Spanish
- Must participate in Professional Development (PD)
- Engage community and business partners to be incorporated as a resource in curriculum development and student products
