Job Summary
Spanish Teacher responsible for planning and delivering developmentally appropriate lessons for students, may teach multiple disciplines as assigned, creates a conducive classroom environment, plans and prepares lesson plans and related activities, guides learning toward curriculum goals, employs varied instructional techniques, grades and maintains records, assesses student progress, communicates with parents, supervises teaching assistants/volunteers, participates in staff meetings and committees, coordinates and/or participates in special programs or events, and may provide remedial assistance after regular hours; requires a valid SC teaching certificate or eligibility and emphasizes effective instruction, assessment, classroom management, and collaboration with staff and parents.
Required Qualifications
- Valid South Carolina teaching certificate or eligibility for South Carolina teaching certificate in the appropriate certified area.
