Job Summary
Deliver specialized instruction and develop lesson plans based on the curriculum map, adapting content to maximize student engagement and development. Provide differentiated methods for varied age groups while maintaining vigilant supervision and safety of students throughout the classroom and playground environment. Complete daily protocols including attendance tracking, email checks, and staff meetings to address emerging issues. Ensure all materials are age-appropriate and accessible, adhering to district safety protocols and reporting any suspected child abuse.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- A minimum of 48 semester units or 60 quarter college units or pass NCLB test
- Must demonstrate subject matter competency through a CSTC content-specific assessment or other verification method appropriate to the specialized enrichment area
- Must pass Live Scan (criminal background check via fingerprinting)
- Provide a clear TB test
- Must be available for the entire shift schedule
- Must have reliable transportation
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
- 3+ years of experience in a related field preferred
