Job Summary
Spanish/English Interpreter needed to provide real-time interpretation between Spanish-speaking employees and English-speaking supervisors, trainers, and team members in a manufacturing and welding environment. Responsibilities include interpreting during meetings, safety trainings, and production activities; translating work instructions and safety guidelines; assisting supervisors with ensuring clear understanding of safety procedures, welding techniques, and quality expectations; maintaining confidentiality; supporting onboarding and training of Spanish-speaking employees; and complying with PPE and safety requirements on-site.
Required Qualifications
- Fluent in English and Spanish (spoken and written)
- Experience interpreting in an industrial, manufacturing, or construction setting preferred
- Comfortable working in a welding/manufacturing environment and wearing required PPE
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand, walk, and move about the production floor for extended periods
- Understanding of workplace safety practices is a plus
- All necessary PPE will be provided
- On-site training for safety procedures and language use
