Job Summary
Conduct patient care by checking vital signs, performing blood draws, administering methadone under RN supervision, and assisting with procedures and documentation. Record and report data relating to patient mental and physical status, observe patient needs, and prepare medication labels and take-home bottles for clients. Follow OASAS protocols for methadone dispensing, tally medication sheets, and physically count medications at day's end. Requires NYS LPN license, BLS certification, and one year of experience with Substance Use Disorder or Serious Mental Illness clients. Available to work a flexible schedule as needed in response to participant and staff needs.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Graduate of a formal Technical or Vocational LPN Program
- NYS LPN license
- BLS certification
- At least One (1) year experience as an LPN working with clients with Substance Use Disorder (SUD) and/or Serious Mental Illness (SMI) or in a similar working environment
- Proficiency in Phlebotomy and EKG
- Available to work a flexible schedule as needed in response to participant and staff needs
- Computer literacy including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and EHR
