Spanish Bilingual Group Counselor-CASAC

Job Summary
Develop treatment plans in concert with the Program Director or Clinical Supervisor that reflect specialized Track issues regarding physical, medical, cognitive, and psychosocial needs. Facilitate group counseling, family sessions, and encounter groups while ensuring sessions start on time and run as scheduled. Use the agency's Electronic Health Record to input participation information and complete all required documentation, including Planning and Progress notes, per OASAS regulations. Provide crisis intervention as needed and implement strategies to increase patient participation. Participate in Treatment Plan Reviews and Case Conferences, informing counseling staff of any relevant clinical concerns. Requires CASAC-T certification, bilingual Spanish, and at least one to two years of experience facilitating groups within an 822 Opioid Treatment Program. Monday-Friday schedule from 7am to 3pm with a $5,000 sign-on bonus.
Required Qualifications
- CASAC-T certification
- Bilingual Spanish
- At least One-Two (1-2) years related experience in facilitating groups within an 822 Opioid Treatment Program
- Knowledge and/or training in Trauma Informed Care
- Knowledge of the laws regarding personnel and client information
- Knowledge of Client Rights
- Knowledge of Code of Ethics
- Computer literacy including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and EHR
