Job Summary
Perform translations in CAT tools for assigned clients and projects, covering marketing, help, UI, and regulated content. Support the team with copy-edit tasks and master standard tools for creating queries and checking live UI elements. Precisely follow style guides, client requirements, and established processes, including raising queries when needed. Improve work based on corrections from senior members and clients, while tracking personal error statistics and participating in internal and client quality meetings. Meet KPIs for productivity, on-time delivery, and quality.
Required Qualifications
- University degree in Translation/Applied Languages/Linguistic Studies or equivalent combination of education and experience (University degree in other fields plus 2 years of full time experience in translation; OR 5 years of full time professional experience in translating)
- Native fluency in Spanish and Catalan
- Fluent in English (both written and spoken, in a wide range of registers)
- 0-2 years of experience in translation or creating easy-to-read texts
