Spaceport Operations Technician – Night Shift responsibilities include overseeing overnight operations for Starbase residents and traveler hotel accommodations, acting as the primary point of contact for urgent issues, and ensuring all areas remain clean, functional, and guest-ready. Responsibilities encompass hotel and residential coordination, housekeeping duties, facilities inspections, and collaboration with Facilities and Housekeeping to escalate maintenance needs. Transportation support involves managing Tesla staging, reservations, and coordinating airport shuttles and LotX routes, with on-site transportation metrics tracked in PowerBI. Communication tasks include monitoring multiple inboxes and tickets (Starbase living inbox, Tesla reservations, Switch reservations, Jira), on-call communications, and shift activity reporting. Continuous improvement and team support include identifying enhancements, supporting training, mentoring, and meeting operational needs during the 3rd shift. Basic qualifications specify a high school diploma or equivalency and 1+ years of related experience. Preferred skills emphasize organization, cleanliness, effective independent work, and proactive issue identification and resolution. Additional requirements include overtime and weekend availability and the ability to perform physical tasks and pass a pre-employment questionnaire or medical review.
