Spaceport Integration Manager

Job Summary
Coordinate local permitting and construction approvals with NASA, the Space Force, and Range leadership at Cape Canaveral and Kennedy Space Centers. Assist the team in streamlining external approval processes for civil, architectural, structural, and MEP design packages while challenging unnecessary requirements and timelines. Support engagement with base stakeholders to ensure alignment on tactical and strategic needs, manage conflicts involving launch providers, and contribute to master planning for Florida operations. Work within the integration team to enable manifest increases and safe, cost-effective site development. Must be available for extended hours, weekends, and occasional travel; requires Top Secret clearance and a Bachelor's degree in engineering or architecture.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, architecture, or STEM discipline
- 3+ years of experience leading technical process improvements and/or serving in a technical project management capacity in an aerospace environment
- 3+ years of experience leading teams, projects, or people
- Must be available to work extended hours and/or weekends as needed to support critical milestones or operations
- Must be willing to travel to other SpaceX offices, vendors, and customers as necessary (Occasional travel, approximately 5%)
- Ability to work in extreme environments – heat, cold, rain, fumes, odors, and noise
- Ability to pass Air Force background checks for Cape Canaveral and Vandenberg
- An active clearance
Desired Qualifications
- Excellent written and verbal skills
- Experience working with cross-functional design teams and external stakeholders
- Qualified as a Professional Engineer (PE) within the state of Florida or a licensed architect
- Holds a clearance with Top Secret or Top Secret SCI
- Experience supporting or coordinating local permitting and design reviews with NASA, Space Force, or similar federal agencies
