Job Summary
Conduct advanced engineering support across system lifecycle phases to ensure timely Geospatial Intelligence delivery. Apply multi-disciplinary approaches to develop, integrate, and sustain space-based capabilities within Controlled and Special Access Programs. Execute requirements engineering, solutions development, systems reliability analysis, services deployment, research, systems integration, test and evaluation, and maintainability analysis. Maintain deep understanding of secure architectures for operation within highly classified environments. This role supports the National System for Geospatial Intelligence and Department of Defense/Intelligence Community. Requires Master's in Engineering with 18 years experience or PhD with 10 years, TS/SCI clearance, and onsite location in Springfield, Virginia.
Required Qualifications
- Must be willing to sign additional Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs)
- Must provide proof of Organizational Conflict of Interest (OCI) status for participation in KPMO programs
- This position is 100% onsite in Springfield, Virginia
- Remote or hybrid work is not available
- Master's in Engineering and 18 years of experience, or PhD in Engineering and 10 years of experience in related technical or scientific fields such as engineering, physics, mathematics
- Experience with Integrated Protection Strategy (IPS) or integrating SSA applications
- Experience with space related activities such as SOSI, BMC3, or orbital analysis
- Experience dealing with data at multiple classification levels and processing data at multiple classification levels
- Demonstrated experience with space enterprise information needs
- Experience with space environments such as space to ground or threat assessments of space assets
- Experience with physics models to include analyzing space weather effects, and threat/damage analysis of space based objects
- Experience with space object measurement
- Experience with NRO/SAO or AF SPO
- Understanding of MBSE processes, tools, and languages
- TS/SCI clearance adjudication or ability to obtain SCI and pass a polygraph
