Job Summary
System Architecture role within Thales Alenia Space: define and recommend candidate architectures for space propulsion system elements to satisfy stakeholder expectations, document architecture justification and interfaces, and approve lower-level specifications. Establish the solution architecture by trading off stakeholder needs, technical solutions, costs, risks, and schedules. Assist in the solution development cycle and manage the assignment of requirements, performance evaluation, interfaces, and technical negotiations with internal/external stakeholders. Collaborate in co-engineering approaches (Lean Thinking, Obeya) and apply MBSE and modelling tools across design, integration, verification, qualification, and agile methods. Opportunity to grow within a leading engineering group, with potential international mobility, and roles spanning technical expertise or leadership paths.
Required Qualifications
- Master of Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent
- significant experience in architecture and engineering systems
- leadership to engage and develop a team
- strong communication and relationship skills
- ability to work with customers
- familiarity with Concept, Design, Experimentation and Simulation tools, and MBSE
