Job Summary
Space Operations Planner leading and participating in space-related operational planning for theater-wide synchronization of OAIs in the Indo-Pacific, including developing planning documents, briefs up to senior leadership, and coordinating with outside agencies to ensure deconfliction and alignment with force readiness and theater objectives. Requires experience in joint/service levelPlanning, OPS products (CONOPS/OPORDs/EXORDs), and TS/SCI clearance. Position involves engagement with US Space Force and Booz Allen Hamilton teams across real-world joint operations, with hybrid in-person/remote work in Honolulu, HI.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience with Joint or Service level planning, including in an operations setting
- 3+ years of experience with leading operational planning teams and developing operational products such CONOPS, OPORDs, FRAGORDs, and EXORDs
- Knowledge of how to drive OAI planning efforts that align with force readiness, Global Force Management, and theater objectives
- Ability to interface professionally with senior military and civilian leadership
- Ability to develop and provide briefs
- Bachelor’s degree
- Clearance: TS/SCI clearance is required
- Experience with space operations, including integrating space into operational planning efforts (Nice If You Have)
