Job Summary
Conduct requirements analysis, design, documentation, implementation, verification, maintenance, and troubleshooting for data communications networks supporting the SDA program. Manage network topology utilizing Linux, Windows servers, Juniper firewalls, Arista switches, and NAS/SAN storage while ensuring vulnerability scanning and hardening. Lead the software development life cycle and secure buy-in on concepts through exceptional communication and negotiation skills. Apply AI for continuous improvement and innovation within a cross-functional team. Requires travel up to 50% to deployment sites in the US, with surges during equipment deployments.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or a related Science or Mathematics field
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
- Master's degree
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
- Department of Defense Secret security clearance
- U.S. Government security investigation eligibility
- Eligibility requirements for access to classified information
- U.S. citizenship
- Travel to deployment sites in the US
- Travel up to 50%
- Travel needs during times of site equipment deployments
- Enterprise Network Design/topology
- High speed network design and implementation
- Juniper Networks Certified Administrator (JNCIA-Junos, JNCIP)
- Cisco CCNA certification
- Cisco CCNP certification
- Proficiency with Juniper SRX-series of firewall devices
- Maintenance of Network topology that utilize Linux IDM/Windows Servers for DNS and Account Management
- Juniper Firewalls
