Job Summary

Conduct full lifecycle development of Special Test Equipment for power, digital, RF, and mixed-signal systems, including architecture, circuit design, prototyping, and verification. Perform detailed circuit designs and implement test harnesses using SPICE, MATLAB/Simulink, and LabVIEW. Develop automated test software and data acquisition systems, then support design reviews and execute qualification test plans to meet space standards. Troubleshoot anomalies during integration and environmental testing while performing root cause analysis. Collaborate with program leads to contribute technical input for proposals and manage procurement needs. This 1st shift, 100% onsite role at Boeing's El Segundo facility requires a Top Secret/SCI clearance and offers relocation.

Required Qualifications

  • US Citizenship
  • Ability to obtain a US Security Clearance
  • Interim and/or final U.S. Top Secret/SCI clearance Post Start
  • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
  • 5 or more years of engineering work experience
  • 100% onsite availability
  • Work onsite at the listed location
  • US export control compliance requirements
  • U.S. Person status (U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee)
  • Satisfy the Company's Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process
  • Ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship
  • An interim and/or final U.S. Top Secret/SCI clearance Post Start is required

Desired Qualifications

  • Lead, Level 4: 10+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience with PCB design, schematic capture, layout, and/or routing
  • Hands on troubleshooting power, digital or RF systems
  • Hands-on experience using test equipment such as digital multimeters, power analyzers, logic analyzers, and digital oscilloscopes
  • Software coding experience including; however, not limited to: LabView, Test Stand, C/C#, Python, FPGA Verilog/VHDL, and/or MATLAB
  • Signal Knowledge of power systems and digital communication protocols
  • Understanding of various power systems and digital communication protocols used in space applications
  • Experience in power and thermal analysis
  • The ability to perform power and thermal analysis on circuits and systems, predicting their behavior under various conditions and ensuring they meet the necessary requirements
  • Availability to travel up to 10% of the time, domestically depending on business needs
  • Advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology, computer science, engineering data science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor)
  • 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience
  • ABET accreditation
  • 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience
