Job Summary
Greet and welcome guests while evaluating their health conditions to provide personalized massage treatments that relieve pain and discomfort. Prepare treatment rooms for strict sanitation standards, inform clients of required steps, and maintain facility cleanliness and safety protocols. Promote spa products and services, cooperate with other departments for guest coordination, and uphold all privacy, security, and emergency procedures. Maintain current California massage therapy licenses and attend scheduled training and meetings. Commit to a flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to commit to a minimum of two shifts per week including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Exceptional attention to details, time management and customer service skills
- Ability to maintain a friendly, team-oriented, positive attitude and a professional appearance
- Ability to be poised under pressure and maintain a highly diplomatic attitude with challenging guests and under stressful circumstances
- Must possess excellent communication and customer service skills
- Must be friendly, professional, and patient
- Exceptionally strong in issue resolution and proven analytical skills with a strong attention to detail
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Two years' hands-on experience outside of school
- Current license through the California Massage Therapy Council
- Regular attendance in conformance with the standards which may be established by Azul Hospitality
- Ability to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the hotel
