Job Summary
Greet and welcome guests, evaluate their health conditions, and provide professional massage treatments to relieve pain and tension. Prepare treatment rooms for sanitation, inform clients of required steps, and promote spa products and services. Maintain facility cleanliness, follow safety and emergency procedures, and cooperate with other departments to coordinate guest needs. Uphold privacy protocols, attend scheduled training and meetings, and commit to two shifts per week including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Maintain current California Massage Therapy Council license and adhere to Azul Hospitality grooming and attendance standards.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to commit to a minimum of two shifts per week including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Exceptional attention to details, time management and customer service skills
- Ability to maintain a friendly, team-oriented, positive attitude and a professional appearance
- Ability to be poised under pressure and maintain a highly diplomatic attitude with challenging guests and under stressful circumstances
- Must possess excellent communication and customer service skills
- Must be friendly, professional, and patient
- Exceptionally strong in issue resolution and proven analytical skills with a strong attention to detail
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Two years' hands-on experience outside of school
- Current license through the California Massage Therapy Council
- Regular attendance in conformance with the standards which may be established by Azul Hospitality
- Ability to comply with Azul Hospitality rules and regulations for the safe and effective operation of the hotels facilities
- Attendance at all scheduled training sessions and meetings
