Job Summary
Welcome and service guests in a professional and friendly manner while performing massage and body treatment services including Swedish, Deep Tissue, Prenatal, Reflexology, Hot Stone, and Chair Massage. Maintain the cleanliness and neatness of The Spa at CCCR by cleaning and sanitizing work stations after each guest and ensuring equipment is sanitized at all times. Promote and cross sell non-massage services and body care retail products to all guests. Create and maintain a professional, friendly, and elegant spa environment. Attend all product knowledge, motivational training programs, meetings, and work-related events. Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and all shift hours.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a minimum of 500 hours as a massage therapist
- Must have a valid CMT (Certified Massage Therapist) certificate issued by an official and legal institution
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one situations to guests and employees of the organization
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
- Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations

- Must be able to work on weekends and holidays
- Must be able to work all shift hours
- Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds

- Ability to perform Hot Stone massage techniques
- Ability to perform Chair Massage techniques
- Basic knowledge of human anatomy and have the ability to handle related questions
