Job Summary
Ensure efficient, personalized guest service meeting Relais & Châteaux, AAA 4 & 5 Diamond, and Forbes standards. Support the Spa Manager as a hands-on supervisor, handling receptionist duties including reservation calls, cashiering, scheduling, and guest concerns. Oversee spa cleaning, direct attendants, and lead training for the Coordinator and Attendant teams. Manage retail inventory, order products, and coach staff on sales within the Ancient Cedars Spa. Participate in all Human Resource functions and embrace wellness philosophies to create a positive learning environment. Commit to the position for two years in this family-owned Relais & Châteaux property recognized by Forbes and Michelin Key.
Required Qualifications
- The willingness to learn in a team environment while striving to exceed Relais & Chateaux, AAA 4 & 5 Diamond and Forbes Standards.
- Great interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills, initiative thinking and ability to multi-task.
- The ability to organize the guest bookings for spa practitioners and deal with guests in a professional manner.
- Exemplary customer service skills and a demonstrated willingness to exceed guest expectations.
- The ability to contribute and assist in creating a positive atmosphere for learning & development for the Spa Team Members.
- The ability to commit to the position for two years.
Desired Qualifications
- Previous spa product line knowledge would be an asset.
- Previous experience of 1 year in another spa, or a full-service hotel, would be an asset.
- Previous experience as a Massage or Spa Practitioner, an asset but not required.
- Working knowledge of Pro-Salon, Excel, Word, and internet applications would be preferred.
- The Ability to embrace the philosophies of wellness and healing through spa experiences.
