Job Summary
Provide massage therapy and body treatment services to spa guests in accordance with menu protocols and sanitation standards. Ensure treatment rooms are clean, stocked daily, and maintained to universal industry guidelines. Comply with guest service basics including professional appearance, proper greetings, and consistent privacy policies. Educate guests on product ingredients and recommend retail items for home use. Plan your day, arrive 15 minutes early, and schedule treatments to begin and end on time. Maintain high professional standards while working in a fast-paced hotel environment.
Required Qualifications
- Current NH State license
- Minimum of 1 year experience in the medical, salon, or spa industry
- Current CPR certification
- High school education or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of guest services and retail inventory
- Consistent professional attitude and behavior
- Effective listening and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, sometimes under pressure, while remaining flexible and efficient
- Ability to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period
- Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance
- Ability to grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination
- Ability to perform massage techniques, including but not limited to standing, bending, and fluid use of arms and hands utilized to perform necessary body work
- Must meet the physical requirements of being able to perform massage techniques
