Job Summary
Administer professional massage and body treatments to guests while assessing soft tissue conditions, joint quality, and muscle strength to develop individualized treatment plans. Review medical histories to determine appropriate methods and provide guidance on postural improvement, stretching, and rehabilitative exercises. Integrate systematic manipulation of muscles and soft tissue for therapeutic purposes, ensuring all encounters follow spa protocols and accepted certification practices. Greets arriving guests on time, handles requests courteously, and resolves customer issues efficiently while maintaining high standards of personal appearance and grooming. Perform prep work, clean and restock rooms, and ensure equipment is clean and in proper working condition. Comply with Aimbridge Hospitality standards, safety regulations, and confidentiality policies while promoting teamwork and attending meetings as necessary.
Required Qualifications
- State licensed massage therapist license
- required insurance
- High School diploma or equivalent
- experience in a hotel or a related field
- one year minimum
- ability to convey information and ideas clearly
- ability to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately
- ability to work well in stressful high pressure situations
- ability to maintain composure and objectivity under pressure
Desired Qualifications
