Job Summary
Spa & Fitness Manager leading a hospitality-driven wellness program across fitness, aquatics, spa/salon services, and holistic signature initiatives. Responsibilities include designing, implementing, scheduling, and measuring individualized and group wellness programs across in-person, virtual, and on-demand platforms; supervising spa and salon services through contractors and specialists; managing wellness spaces and equipment; collaborating with vendors and Resident Engagement colleagues to ensure safety, innovation, and program quality; developing and teaching a variety of fitness modalities; driving program excellence with flexible scheduling across days, evenings, and weekends; and fostering resident engagement and relationship-building in a 100% in-person leadership role.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in fitness, wellness, or related field or equivalent experience
- Experience working with older adults
- Experience in health promotion programs and fitness center management
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Positive, engaging, and collaborative attitude, strong listening skills, strong 1:1 and group facilitation skills
- Ability to lead by example
- Strong time management and organization skills
- Self-initiator requiring minimum supervision
- Ability to use or learn a variety of tech-based services and platforms; i.e. Microsoft Outlook, Zoom, YouTube, resident facing portals, and A/V set-ups
