Job Summary
Welcome members and guests at the Hideaway Golf Club Spa & Fitness facilities with a warm, professional demeanor. Provide efficient check-in and check-out services, schedule spa appointments using the reservation system, and conduct facility tours for prospective members. Maintain cleanliness and organization of locker rooms, treatment areas, and fitness spaces while restocking towels, robes, and retail products. Educate members on spa treatments, wellness programs, and boutique merchandise to support sales goals and promote seasonal promotions. Monitor equipment conditions, report maintenance needs, and assist with setup for fitness classes and special events. Ensure all service standards and safety procedures are followed while representing the club's luxury hospitality culture.
Required Qualifications
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
- Criminal and civil background clearance
- Flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, and extended hours as business demands require
- Ability to exercise sound judgment and maintain confidentiality
- Ability to remain calm, professional, and service-focused while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable using reservation software, computers, telephones, and standard office equipment
- Lifting and carrying towels, linens, robes, beverages, supplies, and equipment weighing up to 25 pounds
- Standing for extended periods while greeting Members and Guests, checking appointments, answering phones, and assisting with spa and fitness operations
- Walking throughout the spa, spa boutique, fitness center, locker rooms, wellness areas, and Club facilities while assisting Members and maintaining facility standards
- Reaching, bending, stooping, and lifting towels, robes, retail merchandise, linens, beverages, amenities, and operating supplies
- Working in varying temperatures and humidity levels associated with spa facilities, steam rooms, saunas, fitness areas, pools, and outdoor wellness spaces
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in a luxury spa, resort, private club, hotel, fitness center, or hospitality environment
- Previous retail sales experience in a luxury spa, boutique, hospitality, or wellness environment
- Ability to confidently recommend products and educate Members on skincare, wellness, and boutique merchandise while providing exceptional service
- Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills
- Professional, polished, and service-oriented demeanor
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
- Ability to multitask while maintaining a calm and welcoming presence
- Basic knowledge of spa services, wellness offerings, and fitness facilities
- Hospitality, customer service, or guest relations training
- Commitment to delivering exceptional Member service and upholding luxury hospitality standards
