Job Summary
Conduct individual counseling and support for residents across all life areas while fostering their self-reliance through resource-oriented work. Identify specific protection and assistance needs, ensure quality of social professional work, and collaborate with authorities and the healthcare system. Network with other Hero shelters to continuously develop shared standards. Work in a dynamic, intercultural team with flat hierarchies, supported by supervision, ongoing training, and monthly team budgets.
Required Qualifications
- Abgeschlossenes (Fach-) Hochschulstudium als Sozialarbeiter:in, (Sozial-)pädagog:in bzw. Diplompädagog:in, Diplomsportpädagogin, Psycholog:in, Heilpädagog:in, Erziehungswissenschaftler:in oder gleichwertiges Studium
- Sehr gute Kenntnisse der deutschen Sprache
- Beherrschung mindestens einer europäischen Fremdsprache, vorzugsweise Englisch oder Französisch sowie möglichst (Grund-)kenntnisse mindestens einer der häufig vertretenen Sprache der Geflüchteten
- Organisiert und verantwortungsbewusst
- Selbstständig innerhalb eines Teams
- Einsatzbereit, flexibel und belastbar
- Hohe Sozialkompetenz
- Gestaltungswillen und Motivation
Desired Qualifications
- Berufserfahrung in der Arbeit mit Geflüchteten wünschenswert, jedoch keine Bedingung
