Job Summary
Oversee daily yard operations including inventory staging, loading, unloading, container placement, and workflow coordination. Supervise yard personnel, Yard Leads, and operational support employees while inspecting containers and equipment for safety compliance and operational readiness. Coordinate yard priorities, equipment movement, and operational schedules; operate and oversee forklifts and machinery safely. Monitor inventory tracking, reporting, and equipment accountability. Support employee training, onboarding, coaching, and performance accountability. Report operational concerns, equipment issues, and safety matters to management. Maintain clean, organized, and safe yard operations. Requires forklift certification, valid driver's license, and 3–5 years of yard or logistics experience. Full-time onsite role at our Long Beach branch.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Forklift certification or operational equipment experience
- Valid driver's license
- Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills
- Ability to lift and move up to 75 lbs
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Exposure to forklifts, operational equipment, containers, machinery, and outdoor operational environments
- Full-time, Onsite employment

Desired Qualifications
- 3–5 years of yard, warehouse, logistics, or operational experience
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience
