Job Summary
Oversee daily yard operations, supervise yard personnel including Yard Leads, coordinate equipment movement and inventory organization, ensure safety compliance with OSHA standards, and manage operational workflows. Responsibilities include inspecting containers and yard inventory, operating and supervising forklifts and yard equipment, coordinating with dispatch, drivers, and shop personnel, monitoring yard reporting and documentation, and supporting training and performance coaching to maintain a safe, efficient yard. Requires high school diploma or equivalent, forklift certification or equipment experience, 3–5 years in yard/logistics/ops, and a valid driver’s license. Onsite role based in Long Beach, CA with full-time hours. Responsibilities emphasize leadership, safety, inventory accuracy, and cross-functional coordination.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 3–5 years of yard, warehouse, logistics, or operational experience preferred.
- Forklift certification or operational equipment experience required.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills required.
- Knowledge of inventory management and yard operations is preferred.
