Job Summary
The RM I consults with credit-union members to identify needs, refer appropriate products/solutions (including investment services, insurance products, first mortgages, and car buying services), and follow up on pending transactions. Responsibilities include handling a wide range of consumer transactions (opening/closing deposit and loan accounts, posting deposits and payments, transfers, and account maintenance), achieving performance and revenue targets, and identifying/reporting suspicious behavior or suspected fraud. The role emphasizes member experience, confidentiality, attention to detail, sound judgment, and professional collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. Daily activities involve in-person or phone consultations, recommending cross-sell opportunities, and ensuring accurate processing of accounts while maintaining compliance and excellent member service. Education required: high school diploma or equivalent. Location: Anchorage, Alaska; onsite in-person role with a base pay structure described for Alaska. Required Qualifications
- 12 months experience in a similar position having prior loan experience and reaching service and performance goals
- Working knowledge of deposit/ loan products (Trust, IRA, certificates, loans/Loans PQ – loans decisions system)
- Proven ability to garner business
- Proficiency in the operations of a PC and the capability to work efficiently in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
- Member service and organizational skills
- Good interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively listen, understand, and anticipate member needs
- Willingness to make a difference
- Genuine interest in helping members through Conversations that Matter and have an empathetic and caring nature
- Personable and professional
- Good verbal and written communication skills in person and over the phone
