Job Summary
Supervise and assist students to ensure seamless education, implementing lesson plans and delivering individual or group instruction within established guidelines. Monitor student behavior and performance, assigning discipline under administration guidance while advocating for students to build relationships and develop a safe learning environment. Facilitate learning processes including social emotional learning, conflict resolution, and mentorship, and guide students in personal interactions and problem-solving strategies. Collaborate with building staff to receive direction on lesson plans and expectations, and communicate with stakeholders regarding student progress and needs assessments. Maintain documentation files and records for administration and instructional teams, and respond to emergency situations such as fights or suspected abuse. Oversee on and off-campus special events during school hours and weekends to maintain safe extracurricular activities. This role requires a valid State of Wyoming Teaching License or Substitute Teaching Permit.
