Job Summary
Southern Region Supervisor with clinical and operational leadership responsibilities across Southern Illinois. Oversees supervision of QMHPs, MHPs, and other clinicians, while maintaining a small direct caseload and supporting school-based, probation, reentry, and independent housing programs. Requires travel across Southern Illinois and collaboration with schools, probation departments, housing providers, and community organizations to ensure clinical quality, documentation standards, and program expansion. Key duties include monthly individual and group clinical supervision, clinical consultation on assessments and treatment planning, ensuring Medicaid/DHS/school-based compliance, participating in audits and quality improvement activities, onboarding staff, and aligning new sites with GRO Community’s clinical and ethical standards. Ideal candidate will possess a Clinical Master’s Degree, be licensed or license-eligible (LCSW/LCPC/LMFT preferred), and have experience in community- and school-based mental health, with prior supervision experience, trauma-informed and culturally responsive care expertise, and willingness to travel for regional supervision and site support.
Required Qualifications
- Must currently hold a Clinical Master’s Degree (Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field).
- Licensed or license-eligible preferred (LCSW, LCPC, LMFT).
- Experience providing community-based and/or school-based mental health services.
- Experience providing clinical supervision or mentorship (formal or informal).
- Strong knowledge of trauma-informed care, culturally responsive practice, and ethical standards.
