Job Summary
Assist teachers with instructional, clerical, student-management, and daily living activities for special education students in classrooms. Requires a high school diploma or GED; experience with students with special needs is preferred. Must relate well to students, staff, and parents, have strong office, computer, and communication skills, and be able to supervise students in community settings. Paraprofessional role supports instructional methods and may require completing training provided by the Special Education Department. Work hours typically 7:15am–3:30pm during the school year; part-time position with benefits including holidays, PTO, and optional plans; salary range expected to be between $16.58 and $20.62 per hour, annualized to approximately $34,446–$42,950 depending on hours and qualifications.
Required Qualifications
