Job Summary
Supervise students during outdoor recess, ensuring safety and orderly transitions between activities. Conduct daily playground hazard checks and quickly report injuries or unusual situations to staff. Assist students in gathering materials and games while maintaining a positive, encouraging environment. Be prepared to respond to emergencies and adapt to changing weather conditions. Requires extended standing, walking, and stooping; ability to lift up to 25 pounds. Valid Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card and one year experience working with children required. Basic first aid and CPR certification preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- One (1) year experience working with children
- Valid Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to stoop, kneel, and crouch
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in a school setting or similar environment
- Basic first aid and CPR certification (Must be tested and obtained from in-person course)
