Job Summary
Oversee and coordinate all concrete crew activities on job sites, interpreting blueprints to assign tasks and ensuring high-quality work meets specifications. Conduct regular inspections of progress, materials, and equipment while promoting safety procedures to maintain a safe working environment. Collaborate with the superintendent and project manager to report on progress, address on-site issues, and participate in planning pours and finishing operations. Maintain accurate records of workforce, daily activities, and timelines. This role requires at least three years of concrete experience, including two years as a foreman.
Required Qualifications
- At least 3 years of concrete experience
- Minimum of 2 years in a foreman or supervisory role
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage a crew
- Strong knowledge of concrete construction methods, tools, and safety standards
- Physical capability to perform manual labor and work in various weather conditions
- Ability to read understand construction drawings and specifications
- Strong organizational abilities with attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to pass a federal criminal background check
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable transportation to job sites
