Job Summary
Locum tenens psychiatrist needed to cover an inpatient adolescent unit (ages 12-17) with ED and medical-surgical consults, on a 7 days on/7 days off schedule (8am-5pm with 1 hour lunch). Responsibilities include inpatient care, consults for ED/med-surg, and supporting an ongoing adolescent unit opening; midlevel staff handle primary call with psychiatrist backup. Includes paid malpractice insurance and pre-paid travel and housing expenses; assignment details managed via online portal. Weatherby Healthcare provides dedicated consultant support; charter member of NALTO.
