South Business Development Sales Manager

Job Summary
Grow existing account bases in the Central and Southern regions by researching target areas, qualifying new sales opportunities, and fostering strong relationships with retailers to achieve stretch goals. Develop and execute go-to-market strategies, manage sales programs and promotions, and share new product launches with retailers to drive incremental growth. Challenge partners to meet premium brand expectations through storytelling and merchandising while ensuring timely order receipt and shipment tracking. Collaborate with internal teams on business plans, present quarterly progress to the Executive Team, and analyze sales data to track performance against budget. Present business plans, new account openings, and progress quarterly to the Executive Team.
Required Qualifications
- Previous working experience as a Territory or Regional Sales Manager for 3-5 years
- BS in Sales, Business Administration, or similar relevant field
- Travel to Atlanta Market two weeks per year (January and July)
- Travel to Aurora, NY at least two weeks per year (April and October)
- Monthly travel to local and non local independent accts in your territory
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced, dynamic and changing environment with a focus on meeting deadlines
- Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
- Excellent follow through skills
- Computer Proficiency includes word processing, data entry, spreadsheets, and generating reports using standard software applications
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent organizational and project management skills
- Ability to maintain accurate record and data files
- Ability to analyze and solve problems
- Dedication to excellent customer service
- Maintain consistent, dependable attendance
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, talk, hear, reach, push, pull, crouch, kneel, bend, climb, use fingers to grasp, handle, feel, and perform repetitive motions of hands or wrists
- Exerts up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to move objects
- Light mental and visual attention required for performing work where there is some variety but actions taken and decisions made are limited to few possibilities. Work requires some coordination with others
- Work is performed in a typical (home) office environment where there is no substantial exposure to adverse environmental conditions
