Job Summary
Negotiate and determine insurance terms by acting as a liaison between brokers and insurers. Develop, underwrite, and manage new business in accordance with program guidelines while maintaining strong relationships with brokers through marketing visits and industry events. Ensure risk quality for small and medium-sized businesses to achieve targeted profitability. Reporting to the Team Leader, Commercial Insurance Underwriting, this role focuses on driving growth within the expanding commercial insurance sector. Hybrid remote work is available for those located in Montreal, St-Lambert, Terrebonne, or Quebec.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in commercial insurance
- AEC, DEC, or insurance broker license
- CRM, PAA, or FPAA certification
- Adaptable and flexible in the face of change
- Strong analytical skills and ability to make decisions based on solid technical knowledge
- Ability to synthesize information
- Strong communication skills
- Excellent negotiation abilities
- Sense of responsibility and ability to prioritize
- High service level, always solution-oriented to support our rapidly growing clientele
