Job Summary
Negotiate and determine insurance terms by acting as a liaison between brokers and insurers. Develop, underwrite, and manage new business in accordance with program and contract guidelines, or operate as a wholesale underwriter. Initiate and maintain strong relationships with brokers through marketing visits and industry event representation. Analyze risks for small and medium-sized businesses while ensuring underwritten risk quality aligns with targeted profitability. Hybrid remote work is available in Montreal, St-Lambert, Terrebonne, or Quebec.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in commercial insurance
- AEC, DEC, or insurance broker license
- CRM, PAA, or FPAA certification
- Adaptable and flexible in the face of change
- Strong analytical skills and ability to make decisions based on solid technical knowledge
- Ability to synthesize information
- Strong communication skills
- Excellent negotiation abilities
- Sense of responsibility and ability to prioritize
- High service level, always solution-oriented to support our rapidly growing clientele
