Job Summary
Conduct underwriting analysis and documentation for marine renewals and new business within assigned authority to determine risk acceptability. Manage endorsement requests, triage renewal applications, and negotiate with external partners while independently engaging agencies to clarify intent or obtain missing information. Serve as the primary liaison to producers and customers to resolve billing, risk control, and underwriting guidance issues, proactively identifying upsell opportunities. Document assigned files ensuring completeness and compliance, execute advanced pricing strategies, and act as a resource for colleagues through training and workflow problem-solving.
Required Qualifications
- Knowledge of Marine underwriting including insurance products, policy processing procedures and documentation
- Strong time management, and analytical skills
- Strong interpersonal and communications skills. Ability to effectively interact with all levels of CNA's internal and external business partners
- Demonstrated ability to work independently on multiple tasks
- Strong capability to advise and coach others
- Demonstrated customer service experience and the ability to interact with a wide-variety of people on a daily basis in person, via telephone and email
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and other enterprise business tools, including responsible use of AI enabled technologies (such as Copilot or similar) to enhance efficiency analysis and workflow in accordance with company policies
- Baccalauréat ou expérience équivalente

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Typically a minimum of two to three years of related work experience
- Fluently bilingual in French and English
