Job Summary
Major Food Group is hiring experienced Sous Chefs to uphold high standards of cuisine and professionalism. Key responsibilities include sourcing quality ingredients, developing and maintaining recipes, organizing and leading a kitchen team, overseeing service and kitchen maintenance, maintaining cleanliness, and managing scheduling and inventory within budget constraints. Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years of management experience and 4 years in a high-volume kitchen, with a culinary diploma preferred. Proficiency in verbal Spanish is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a managing capacity
- Minimum 4 years of experience in a quality-driven, high volume kitchen
- Culinary diploma or equivalent in experience strongly preferred
- Strong communication skills
- Team-orientated and positive attitude
