Job Summary
Sous Chef role requiring leadership and hands-on culinary excellence. You will lead and develop a kitchen team, champion quality food, and collaborate with the Head Chef to design and deliver new dishes and daily specials. You’ll manage the kitchen staff rota, training, and health and safety, while maintaining cost controls (GP and labour). You’ll contribute creatively to menus, drive sales and growth through engagement with kitchen and front-of-house teams, and participate in internal development programs and apprenticeships. The role includes autonomy to create menus and specials, access to culinary masterclasses, and benefits such as free meals, staff discounts, pension, and generous holiday. Required Qualifications
- Experience as a Sous Chef or Senior CDP
- Ability to lead and develop a team
- Strong communication skills
- Experience managing kitchen rota, training, and health and safety
- Creativity in menu design and daily specials
- Planning and organisational skills to control GP and labour
- Pro-active approach to driving sales and growth
