Job Summary
Prepare and cook dishes according to recipes and standards while overseeing station production, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring food safety. Collaborate with the head chef to develop new recipes and taste innovations, while coaching junior chefs to support their development. Maintain high quality standards for presentation and taste, communicate effectively with all team members, and ensure equipment is in good working order. Work 40 hours per week, 5 out of 7 days, including evening shifts until 9pm. Required Qualifications
- Proven experience working as a Sous Chef or similar role
- Knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines
- Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Must be able to work 5 out of 7 days
- Must be available for evening working to 9pm
