Job Summary
Lead kitchen operations in a busy gastro-pub in London, taking responsibility for the kitchen team in the absence of the Head Chef to ensure service, safety and security standards are met. Train and supervise staff to excite customers and deliver outstanding food; work with the Head Chef to train and uphold standards; assist the General Manager and Head Chef in identifying opportunities to maximise sales and enhance the customer experience. Prepare and present all dishes to an outstanding standard of presentation for the day. Support menu development and implementation with the Head Chef to maximise sales in line with pub vision and business plan.
