Job Summary
Sous Chef at Wausau Country Club (Troon) oversees and manages food preparation for a specific area of the kitchen, supervises production to ensure high quality, enforces cost and quality controls (recipes, par inventories, food costing sheets), maintains sanitation program and equipment upkeep, assists Executive Chef with ordering and staff assignment, develops and evaluates concepts, supports budget objectives, trains staff, ensures proper receiving, storage and health-compliant practices, and may assist in interviewing and directing team members; requires AA or 2-3 years related experience and Food Safety/Sanitation Training; regular attendance is required.
