Job Summary
Lead a culinary team as Sous Chef at The Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas, delivering high-impact culinary leadership, exceptional food quality, and guest experiences. Responsibilities include training Master Cooks, Cooks, Pantry Workers and Helpers; ensuring proper requisition processing, labeling, dating, and sanitation; maintaining knowledge of base sauces, stocks, and soups; addressing guest/employees' needs in coordination with management; assisting Executive Chef with purchasing, receiving, and inventory; preparing and administering kitchen schedules; and helping establish goals focused on profit, product, and people. Ideal candidates have 2+ years of supervisory culinary leadership, prefer experience in a union/CBA environment, possess health-related certifications (Health Card; ServSafe preferred), and demonstrate flexible, dependable availability for varied shifts.
