Job Summary
Oversee day-to-day kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating. Manage kitchen staff by handling hiring, training, and scheduling while mentoring new members and ensuring all training meets company standards. Maintain a happy team through 1:1 meetings, incentives, and recognition, while enforcing food safety, sanitation, and equipment maintenance protocols. Collaborate with management to ensure timely service and handle customer complaints regarding food quality or service. Requires two years of similar role experience and team management skills. Competitive industry pay based on salary and Tronc.
Required Qualifications
- 2 year's experience in a similar role
- Team management experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Meticulous attention to detail, highly organised and capable of handling multiple tasks
- A proactive self-starter who can work independently with good judgement and minimal direction
