Job Summary
Assist the Head Chef with managerial duties and mentor wok, line, and salad chefs in our Glasgow Pho restaurant. Manage food safety and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Support the kitchen team across all sections with a focus on fresh, vibrant, and flavoursome dishes including handmade spring rolls, pork lemongrass meatballs, and wok-fried noodles. Requires minimum one year as a Second Chef or Sous Chef. Paid every two weeks with a base of £34,700 plus tronc earnings up to £40,500. Free fresh meals and 50% off dining benefits are included.
Required Qualifications
- Second Chef or Sous Chef with minimum x1 years' in role
- Experience being second in command in a kitchen
- Assisting both the Head Chef with managerial duties
- Being a mentor to our wok chefs, lines chefs and salad chefs
- Strong knowledge in food safety
- Managing compliance within health and safety regulations
