Job Summary
Lead pastry culinary team by guiding staff to prepare quality pastries, while personally preparing items and overseeing execution to meet specifications. Develop and train team to improve results, ensure sanitation and food standards, manage day-to-day operations, and maintain budget. Responsibilities include supervising cooks and workers, maintaining product quality, enforcing safety and SOPs/LSOPs, fostering collaborative relationships, coaching employees, and driving guest satisfaction through superior service and continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; 4 years experience in the culinary, food and beverage, or related professional area.
- 2-year degree from an accredited university in Culinary Arts, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major; 2 years experience in the culinary, food and beverage, or related professional area.
