Job Summary
Prepare ingredients for cooking according to recipes and standards, portion and plate food, operate kitchen equipment (ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, fryers), test for doneness, maintain cleanliness and safety, set up and break down the workstation, maintain quality and presentation, and collaborate with the team to meet quality expectations. Emphasizes following safety policies, professional communication, and adherence to checklists and confidentiality of proprietary information. Must stand for long periods and be able to lift/carry objects up to 25 pounds; hotel/hospitality environment experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- At least 1 year of related work experience
