Job Summary
Oversee and coordinate cooks and kitchen staff in the pastry kitchen; determine presentation and decorative displays; ensure proper portions, garnish, and stock; inform Food & Beverage service staff of menu specials and out-of-stock items; prepare special meals or substitutes; assist cooks and kitchen staff with tasks; provide cooks with needed items; monitor stock of kitchen supplies; maintain kitchen logs for food safety and product quality; ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards; assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, and motivating staff; maintain safety, confidentiality, and professional appearance; develop positive relationships and support teamwork to achieve goals; ensure compliance with policies and protect company assets; communicate clearly and professionally; address guest service needs; supervise and coach employees; stand/walk for extended periods; ability to lift up to 25 pounds; perform other duties as assigned by Supervisors.
