Job Summary

As a Sous Chef at Naked Farmer, lead kitchen operations and mentor culinary team to deliver scratch-made, seasonal dishes with consistent quality. Responsible for executing recipes and processes, training staff across all Naked Farmer stations, guiding shifts, addressing guest concerns, and upholding food safety and health protocols. Collaborate with the Chef de Cuisine to coordinate prep lists, manage inventory, and maintain an organized walk-in. Open and close shifts using checklists, ensure timely completion of tasks, and foster a culture of hospitality and continuous improvement to support the restaurant’s farm-to-table mission.

Required Qualifications

  • At least one year of leadership experience in a high-volume kitchen
  • Two or more years of experience cooking in a high-volume kitchen environment
  • Strong culinary abilities
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
