Job Summary
Lead and mentor the kitchen team as a Sous Chef in a fast-paced, multi-outlet contract dining environment. Collaborate with the Executive Chef to oversee kitchen operations, manage staff, and uphold exceptional culinary standards. Drive high-volume food production, implement menus with stunning presentation, and deliver an exceptional dining experience across hospital, school, college, senior living, and corporate dining accounts. A strong supervisory background, culinary leadership, and proven ability to train and motivate staff are essential. Metas Culinary Management is seeking a Culinary Leader who values culture, creativity, and growth, with the ability to contribute to a dynamic, team-focused kitchen and ensure excellence in quality and service. Must have solid kitchen leadership experience and a strong track record in menu execution, catering, and staff development. Preferred candidates will have a culinary degree and experience in a contract dining setting.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5+ Years in a Supervisory Experience or Sous Chef
- High Volume background
- Impeccable communication Skills
- Restaurant Management knowledge
- Thorough knowledge of Menu implementation with STUNNING presentation ideas
- Catering Experience
- Culinary Degree strongly preferred
