Job Summary
Oversees daily kitchen operations and leads staff at Marriott to ensure high-quality food and guest satisfaction. Personally performs tasks while supervising all kitchen areas, ensures sanitation and food standards, manages production planning, and develops staff. Leads shifts, trains employees, maintains purchasing/receiving standards, and ensures compliance with policies and regulations. Focuses on optimizing guest experience, cost control, and maintaining consistent, superior culinary output.
Required Qualifications
- • High school diploma or GED; 4 years experience in the culinary, food and beverage, or related professional area.
- OR
- • 2-year degree from an accredited university in Culinary Arts, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major; 2 years experience in the culinary, food and beverage, or related professional area.
